I think the Astros will be back in the playoffs next year. The potential is there to be a solid team in 2009. All they have to do is sign a good free agent
starting pitcher like Ben Sheets, and they also need to get their injured players back, such as Carlos Lee.
They lost Carlos Lee to a season-ending injury this year, and he was only hitting an amazing .313 with 28 home runs and 100 RBIs prior to his season-ending
injury three weeks ago.
He was on pace for a 40 home run, 150 RBI season.
But 2009 will be here soon, and the Astros will be a good team again. I have faith the Astros will play hard the rest of 2008. On heart alone, this is still an
82-80 type of team. I still expect them to finish with a winning record this season, despite the injuries and lack of starting pitching.
Hey Perry, forgive me for not attaching a greeting card to this message but I'm so physically drained right now. I'm typing this with one eye open
right now. It's barely 8:30 a.m. but I had returned back to Houston around 4 a.m. from Irving, Texas.
I was at last night's NFL preseason game between the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys. I was away since Thursday morning, but I'm glad to be back home
already.
I just wanted to say have a great weekend.
Don't worry about me anymore, Perry. I'm always pushing myself to the limit. Even when I'm physically tired, I'm still finding some energy to
write about sports, exchange greetings with friends, listening to music... Sooner or later, all of this hard work I'm doing is going to completely exhaust
me, which it already has!
Sometimes I physically pass out because I'm so exhausted.
In fact, Perry. Please pray for me some more if you can. While I feel much better than I used to, I can always use some prayer for guidance as well.
I need to stop by Christ Haven and post there. I like the prayer session you have on Monday mornings. I nearly went to it last week, but I got a little nervous
at the last second.
I'm struggling with my energy level right now. I don't know how to pace myself anymore. If I can't figure this out, sooner or later, I'm really
scared of what's going to happen to my health. My heart can't take this constant beating anymore.

Thank you, Perry.
Cool little Astros logo there.
My favorite baseball team...
Even though they're not real good this year.

I just finished watching and writing about the Astros versus Mets game. I hope you're having a great night.
It was nice to see you posting on Friday Night Lights earlier today. I'll stop by and say hello in Christ Haven sometime tomorrow.
On a glorious Sunday, my first post will be...
It's only fitting I wait until a Sunday.
